Once a month, I post letters from you, with smart alec replies from me. Don't you feel special? Send your letters to corey_spark@hotmail.com.
Hi Corey-
I just happened onto a link to your comic today while i was looking to see if Joe Average had updated, and decided to take a look. I think your comic is clever and also visually interesting :D (oh i'm using the fancy terms today!) and i just wanted you to know, that although i have a list of 18 (yes 18) comics that i read everyday, i'm still going to make your comic a part of that list! :D Laura
P.S. keep up the nifty work! :)
Hi Laura,
Glad we could make the list. Only 18?
I wrote your birthday down, then promptly covered it with something.
HOWEVER,
Hope you have (had) a very Happy Birthday!
I enjoy Common Grounds a great deal, keep up the good work.

P.S. This is also my first e-mail to ANY of the internet toons I read! Not an honor on the level of being knighted, really. (The best I could would be to nominate you for Queen Of Internet Comics. Just say the word and it will be done.)
Hi Eric,
"the word."
Okay, I got photos of the Common Ground coffee shop at Queen's University, in Kingston, Ontario:

So there ya go. Boy, did I ever look like an idiot taking photos of a coffee shop in the middle of the Queen's university centre. ;-)
JOSH.
Dear Josh,
thanks for the photos. As far as you looking like an idiot... I'm not even gonna go there.
Hey, I like the new character. [Buzz] I also like how you are developing the characters. You shouldn't beat yourself up if you're late putting your comic up sometimes. Quality work cannot be rushed, right? Keep up the good stuff!
-Peter H.
Hi Peter,
I don't beat myself up. It's my friend, who will turn out to actually be me, in the last few minutes of the movie. He's the one beating me up.
hahaha, friday's comic. That is so funny, it's from some movie, the name had something to do with trains and hmmm, train spotting? eh anyway, it had nothing to do with trains it was about these scottish druggies. yes, yes, I just thought that that was interesting that I had actually SEEN a movie which was deemed worthy of a comic punchline!
-Jen
Hey Jen,
the movie is Trainspotting, and it's on Corey's top 5 movies list. *nods* Great flick. Sick boy is yummy.
